The practical weapon ranking

A fixed S-to-D weapon chart goes stale as soon as stats or the roster change. Rank the weapons you can test on your own account, using the values in the current inventory.

For a personal list, sort them this way:

  • S tier is your strongest equipped result with an upgrade path you can realistically finish.
  • A tier is a clear damage upgrade that still needs merges or another slot to reach full value.
  • B tier covers useful transition weapons for the current world.
  • C tier holds outscaled weapons kept for the Index, collection, or future merges.
  • Leave an item unranked when its category, multiplier, or upgrade route is unclear.

This ranking changes as you unlock weapon systems, collect duplicates, and enter later worlds.

What weapons actually do

Weapons form a damage-focused equipment layer. Current release gameplay shows the weapon system becoming available around Titan District, the second badge-confirmed world. The local machine or gacha requires an unlock and uses a world-related currency, but exact labels and costs should be read in the current client.

Weapons sit alongside Avatars, Card companions, Accessories, and other equipment. A weapon comparison is meaningful only when the rest of the loadout stays unchanged.

How each weapon earns its place

CriterionStrong resultWeak result
Live damage valueClearly improves the current stat or kill timeAdds no practical improvement
Acquisition routeFarm fits your current world and resourcesRequires a long detour for little gain
Merge potentialDuplicates can become a meaningful upgradeCopies are scarce or the live recipe is unclear
Slot efficiencyOne equipped slot adds strong valueOccupies a slot with an outscaled bonus
Progression stageHelps defeat the next target or barrierSolves content you already clear easily

Do not rank from rarity color alone. A merged lower-rarity weapon can outperform an unmerged chase item on your current account, depending on the live values.

Confirmed weapon examples

A few weapon names are clear, though they do not make up the full roster:

  • Crescent Reaver is a base, no-star weapon.
  • Serpent Slash is a starred result connected to merging Crescent Reavers.
  • Sun Gauntlet is associated with a later area, but its inventory category has been labeled as both weapon and accessory. Check the live inventory.

Use Crescent Reaver and Serpent Slash as examples of the merge path, not proof of a permanent global tier. Check their current stat cards before making a keep, merge, or equip decision. Treat Sun Gauntlet as unranked until its current inventory category is clear in the client.

How to run a fair damage test

  1. Choose one enemy you can reach reliably.
  2. Record the equipped Avatar, companions, boosts, and other gear.
  3. Equip the first weapon setup and note kill time or visible damage.
  4. Equip the second setup without changing anything else.
  5. Repeat the same target several times.
  6. Compare both performance and the cost of future merges.

If your account supports more than one weapon slot, test the complete equipped set. A strong individual item can still be the wrong choice if the second slot produces a better combined result.

Value duplicates correctly

Duplicates are upgrade material. Current gameplay shows a Merge All action and starred weapon progression. The exact number of copies consumed by each merge was not reliably confirmed, so read the live merge panel before committing.

Lock your best weapon and enough duplicates for the next visible merge. Only then should you enable an auto-delete filter. A filter that speeds inventory cleanup can quietly erase the items needed for your next upgrade.

When comparing tiers, rank both the base item and the reachable merged result. A common drop with an easy merge route can provide more progression than a rare weapon that never receives another copy.

Rank weapons by account stage

Before the weapon system

Focus on Energy, Cards, Avatar progress, Gold, and permanent bonuses. Saving for the visible weapon unlock matters more than debating a roster you cannot access yet.

First weapon set

Equip any clear damage improvement, preserve duplicates, and learn the merge interface. Your first goal is a stable increase in kill speed.

Established Titan District farming

Compare starred upgrades, currency income, and slot value. Farm the route that produces both weapon attempts and broader account progress.

Later worlds

Recheck every old assumption. New pools and balance updates can change which item deserves a slot. Keep the best tested setup until a replacement wins under the same conditions.

Current limits you should respect

Do not treat any launch list as proof of current drop rates, complete weapon order, exact multipliers, unlock price, or merge copy requirement. Open these live panels instead:

  • weapon machine for currency and unlock requirements;
  • inventory for current multipliers and categories;
  • merge panel for copy requirements and result;
  • auto-delete settings before long sessions;
  • enemy or mode reward views for acquisition routes.

Those checks turn this framework into a current personal tier list without pretending that unstable numbers are permanent.

Weapon ranking mistakes

  • Ranking rarity instead of tested damage and slot value.
  • Comparing weapons while changing Avatars or potions at the same time.
  • Auto-deleting duplicates before checking the merge recipe.
  • Spending every currency on spins before securing permanent upgrades.
  • Treating a launch-era multiplier as current.
  • Ranking an item whose inventory category is still unclear.

FAQ

What is the best weapon in Anime Breaker?

There is no stable universal winner. Test your current weapons under the same loadout and keep the setup that improves relevant kill speed.

Are Secret weapons always S tier?

No. Rarity does not replace a live stat comparison, merge path, slot test, or account-stage judgment.

Is Serpent Slash better than Crescent Reaver?

Serpent Slash is shown as a starred merged result connected to Crescent Reaver. Confirm the current values in your inventory before ranking it.

How many copies does a weapon merge require?

Read the live merge panel. It shows the copy requirement for that weapon and star level.

When should I use auto-delete?

Use it only after locking equipped weapons and preserving enough duplicates for the next merge shown in the current client.
