Where to get your first weapons

Progress to Titan District, the second badge-confirmed release world, and locate its weapon machine or gacha. Unlock the system using the requirement shown in your current server, then spend the displayed world-linked currency to obtain weapons.

The launch build showed a Gold unlock followed by weapon-related currency use, but exact costs and labels are balance-sensitive. Read the machine before farming toward any number.

The trip to your first usable weapon goes like this:

  1. Clear Alien Planet’s useful upgrades and reach Titan District.
  2. Find the weapon system and inspect its unlock requirement.
  3. Farm Gold and the world resource shown by that machine.
  4. Unlock it only when the live prompt is affordable.
  5. Open enough weapons to secure a clear damage improvement.
  6. Equip and lock the best result.
  7. Save duplicates for starred merges.

Prepare before leaving Alien Planet

Weapons are only one part of the power stack. If reaching Titan District is slow, improve the systems already available: Energy, Card companions, your equipped Avatar, attack range, Global Quests, Index bonuses, achievements, and Rank-related progress.

Do not save so aggressively for weapons that the current enemy route becomes inefficient. A modest permanent upgrade that doubles your kill volume can shorten the weapon unlock grind more than holding every coin.

Before crossing the next barrier, claim rewards and equip your best current loadout. Exact barrier requirements belong to the current client.

Understand the two-step acquisition cost

Unlocking the weapon system and using it are separate costs. The machine asks for an initial payment, then each weapon attempt consumes the currency shown on its panel.

Cost stageWhat to verify
Machine unlockCurrent Gold or resource requirement
Each openingCurrency name and amount per attempt
Multi-open optionWhether it is available and what it consumes
Inventory storageWhether the next batch will exceed capacity
Merge pathWhich duplicates you need to keep

This distinction matters. Reaching the unlock price without any opening currency can leave you with a machine you cannot use.

Farm the right resources

Titan District enemies feed the local progression loop. Use each enemy’s drop view to identify the resource tied to your target, then choose a group you defeat quickly and consistently.

Attack range can improve the route when one position reaches multiple enemies. Pair the farm with relevant Index, Global Quest, achievement, or Battle Pass tasks so the session strengthens more than the weapon inventory.

If you use a Gold, Damage, Drop, or Luck potion, activate it at the target and confirm that the current tooltip matches your purpose. Do not freeze an old effect or multiplier into your plan.

Open weapons with a stopping rule

It is very easy to empty a resource stack at the weapon gacha. Pick a stopping point before the first spin:

  • obtain the first weapon that improves damage;
  • fill every currently available weapon slot;
  • collect enough copies for the next visible merge;
  • preserve a reserve for the next permanent upgrade;
  • stop after a fixed batch if no useful result appears.

A stopping rule protects world progression from a bad run of pulls. You can always return after stronger enemies improve currency income.

Equip and protect the result

Open the weapon inventory immediately after a useful pull. Compare the live damage value, equip the upgrade, and lock it. If the interface does not refresh, close and reopen the panel before assuming the item failed.

Crescent Reaver is a base weapon, while Serpent Slash is a starred result connected to merging that family. They explain the upgrade system, but they are not a complete roster or permanent ranking.

If you see Sun Gauntlet, check where the current client files it before planning a farm. Its category has been labeled inconsistently, so the live inventory should settle whether it belongs under weapons or another equipment section.

Save duplicates for merging

Duplicate weapons can become starred upgrades. The exact copy requirement was not safely established, so inspect the live merge preview for each weapon and star level.

Handle the first batch carefully:

  • lock equipped weapons;
  • retain all copies of a family until you see its merge recipe;
  • perform one manual merge when learning the system;
  • verify the result and new damage value;
  • use Merge All only after reviewing every cleanup setting.

Aggressive auto-delete can remove the low-rarity copies needed for progression. Configure it after you understand the merge path, not before.

Fit weapons into the wider build

Weapons improve damage, while companions, Avatars, permanent account bonuses, Guild upgrades, and consumables affect other parts of the loop. Test the complete loadout against a relevant enemy.

If a new weapon shortens matching-Avatar kills or lets you clear the next barrier, it has immediate value. If it only improves an enemy you already defeat instantly, another upgrade can deserve priority.

Later worlds can introduce new item pools and systems. Keep a tested Titan District setup until a replacement wins under the same Avatar, companion, and boost conditions.

Weapon acquisition mistakes

  • Farming toward a launch-era unlock cost instead of reading the machine.
  • Unlocking the system with no currency left for openings.
  • Spending the entire reserve without a stopping rule.
  • Forgetting to equip and lock a useful pull.
  • Auto-deleting duplicates before inspecting the merge recipe.
  • Treating a short list of confirmed names as the complete roster.
