Open Cards only after protecting your next upgrade
Cards are Anime Breaker’s main companion or hero gacha. Earn Gold through combat and activities, open the station in your current world, equip stronger results, and keep enough currency for the next important upgrade or unlock. Continuous spinning feels productive, but it can trap you in one world when a permanent purchase would improve every future pull.
Early on, farm enough Gold for a small batch and any station access shown on screen. Spin, equip the better pulls, check the Index, and get back to combat before the machine eats your whole balance.
These details match the September 14, 2026 release build. Read the live Card station for its current unlock cost, spin price, rarity odds, and pool.
Cards, companions, and Avatars
The official game description confirms that opening Cards collects companions who help you. Gameplay menus also call these characters heroes. Avatars are separate: they drop from enemies and use their own inventory tab and matching-NPC leveling rule.
| System | Main route | What to do after obtaining it |
|---|---|---|
| Card companion / hero | Spend the station’s displayed currency | Equip it in the companion or hero team |
| Avatar | Defeat the relevant NPC and roll its drop | Equip it, then farm the matching NPC to level it |
| Race or power roll | Use its separate station and currency | Read the live effect before replacing the current result |
Do not call every character an Avatar. Opening a Card and defeating an NPC advance different systems.
How to open Cards efficiently
- Farm a comfortable enemy group. Use attack range to cover several targets and build Gold without dragging out every kill.
- Inspect the world station. Check its unlock purchase and the currency used for each spin.
- Pick a spending limit and keep a reserve for the next world or Warrior upgrade.
- Save Luck potions for a real rolling session. Read the live description first to confirm that the potion affects Cards.
- Spin a batch and stop long enough to look at the results.
- Use Equip Best as a starting point, then compare the Energy readout or farming result.
- Claim new Index progress even when the character does not make the active team.
The starting world uses the Alien Card in current gameplay. Later worlds introduce their own stations and pools, including Titan, Hidden Leaf, and Sin-themed progression. Names, placement, and costs should be read from each live station.
Judge a pull by account value
Release footage shows companions affecting Energy-related growth, but a full stable table of rarity multipliers is not available. Compare the stat card directly.
After a batch of spins, sort the results this way:
| Result | Action |
|---|---|
| Clear improvement to the equipped team | Equip or let Equip Best place it |
| New Index entry but weaker stats | Keep long enough to confirm collection credit |
| Rare result with unclear role | Lock it and test before filtering |
| Duplicate low-value result | Remove only after checking merge, upgrade, and Index needs |
| Result from the wrong system | Move to the correct inventory tab before comparing |
Rarity helps organize pulls, but it does not replace a live stat comparison. A later-world common result can compete differently from an early-world rare, and balance changes can shift both.
Auto-spin and filters
The release interface includes a spin manager and automatic spinning. Use them after configuring rarity filters and inventory space. Start conservatively: keep more results than you think you need until you know what Index entries and upgrade systems count.
Before a long auto-spin:
- lock the current team and any rare results;
- confirm the selected Card station;
- set a Gold stop point;
- check inventory capacity;
- pause unrelated potion timers;
- verify auto-delete thresholds;
- enable automatic reward claims if available.
Current footage indicates that some auto-deleted pulls still count toward the Index, but test one low-value result in the live build before trusting that behavior. A collection tick does not mean the deleted character can be recovered.
Cards mistakes to avoid
- Spending all Gold before buying an efficient permanent upgrade.
- Mixing up Cards, race rolls, powers, and enemy-dropped Avatars.
- Treating reported early rarity odds as permanent.
- Running a Luck potion while not actively spinning.
- Enabling aggressive filters before locking useful results.
- Keeping a favorite visual team without comparing the current farming result.
- Ignoring the Index after obtaining a new character.
