Make the Index part of normal farming
Open the Index before a long session, identify entries that overlap with your current world, and let ordinary kills and collection rolls advance them. The Index is not just a completion screen: release gameplay showed inventory-capacity rewards and permanent global Energy bonuses attached to entries.
Try to make every Index target pay twice. A matching NPC can level your equipped Avatar while its kills fill an entry. The same farm also pays Gold and world currency for the next batch of Cards.
Index categories, requirements, and reward values can expand after updates. This guide reflects the release build reviewed on September 14, 2026; use the live Index as the current checklist.
What the Index tracks
Current gameplay connects the Index with collection and kill progress. The exact permanent category list is not confirmed, so do not assume every tab or target shown in an early video still exists unchanged.
| Progress type | How to advance it | Useful overlap |
|---|---|---|
| Enemy or kill entry | Defeat the named NPC | Avatar leveling, Gold, world coins, Battle Pass XP |
| Companion or Card entry | Open the relevant world Card station | Team upgrades and rarity collection |
| Avatar entry | Farm the matching enemy drop | Build a usable Avatar while filling the collection |
| Equipment entry | Use its supported drop or roll route | Weapon, Accessory, Mount, or Amulet progression |
| Milestone entry | Complete the stated count or action | Achievements and general account growth |
If a tab is absent, follow the current interface rather than an older checklist. Anime Breaker was actively changing around release.
Prioritize high-value entries
Start with entries that sit on your main route. A low-rarity Card pull, a common enemy milestone, or a collection item from your current zone usually costs less time than a rare Secret drop. Claim the easy permanent bonuses first, then return to long-tail completion when your account is stronger.
When the page is full of unfinished entries, start here:
- Current-world enemy entries you can clear quickly.
- Common Card and companion entries funded by normal Gold income.
- Avatar entries that match an enemy you already need to farm.
- Missing world milestones before crossing the next barrier.
- Rare drops and completion targets after stronger Damage, Range, and Luck support them.
Do not spend every resource on one stubborn blank. A new world or stronger team can make that entry cheaper later.
Configure auto-claim carefully
The release settings included automatic Index task or reward claiming. Turn it on if you want bonuses applied during a long session, then check the Index afterward so you understand what completed.
Auto-claim removes menu work; it does not choose efficient targets. You still need to select the right NPC, world station, or equipment route. Pair the toggle with Drop History and inventory checks so a completed entry or rare pull does not go unnoticed.
Current footage also indicated that auto-deleting some Card or unit results could still count them for Index progress. Verify that behavior in the live Index before enabling aggressive filters. A filter can remove a duplicate you needed for another upgrade even when the collection entry counts.
Use Index rewards in the wider loop
Inventory capacity lets you keep more drops before cleaning the bag. That matters when collecting duplicate weapons for merges or reviewing Card pulls. Permanent Energy bonuses strengthen every later tapping session. Both reward types become more valuable the earlier you claim them.
Once a claim lands, check what changed:
- compare the current Energy readout if the reward names Energy;
- check inventory capacity if the reward expands storage;
- review auto-delete rules before a long Card or weapon session;
- return to the current world’s Global Quest and achievements;
- decide whether the next Index entry overlaps with your next upgrade.
Release footage observed a percentage Energy progression across four map entries. Do not hard-code that early value into your build plan; read each current reward card.
Index mistakes to avoid
- Waiting until the final world to open the Index.
- Farming a rare entry while easy current-world entries remain.
- Assuming Auto Claim also selects tasks for you.
- Deleting duplicates needed for weapon merges or team decisions.
- Copying an old category list after a content update.
- Ignoring claimed inventory capacity before changing filters.
