The safe way to merge weapons
Lock your equipped weapons and keep the duplicates shown by the live recipe before touching Merge All. Copy requirements can change. Let the current merge panel decide when you have enough.
Before each merge, work through the inventory in this order:
- Open the weapon inventory.
- Lock the best item in each equipped slot.
- Select one weapon family and inspect its current merge requirement.
- Count the unlocked duplicates available for that family.
- Disable any auto-delete rule that could remove the next copies.
- Merge manually once if you are learning the system.
- Check the resulting star level and damage value.
- Use Merge All only after the result matches your expectation.
This takes a few extra seconds and protects hours of farming.
What weapon merging changes
Anime Breaker turns duplicate weapons into starred upgrades. A base Crescent Reaver, for example, can become the starred Serpent Slash through merging. The upgraded result contributes more damage than the base copies.
Do not turn that example into a universal recipe. The client can change names, star paths, and copy requirements. Treat the visible preview as the contract for the exact weapon in your inventory.

Lock before you automate
Auto-delete is useful during long gacha or farming sessions, but it cannot understand your future plan unless its filters are configured correctly. A low-rarity duplicate can still be essential merge material.
Before activating a filter, check it against your inventory plan:
- Which weapon families are currently equipped?
- Which families are one merge away from an upgrade?
- Does the filter delete by rarity, name, star level, or another rule?
Lock the keepers first. Then run a short test batch, reopen the inventory, and confirm that the expected duplicates survived. Never discover a bad filter after an overnight session.
Manual merge versus Merge All
Merge manually while you are learning the system or handling a weapon family you care about. You can verify one transformation without exposing every eligible item.
Merge All is best after you have:
- locked equipped and reserve weapons;
- inspected the current recipe;
- confirmed which rarities are safe to process;
- reviewed auto-delete settings;
- decided whether any base copies should remain unmerged.
Merge All saves time once the inventory is prepared. Before that, manual merging gives you more control.
Decide which family to merge first
Prioritize the merge that improves your current bottleneck. If a starred upgrade lets you defeat a matching Avatar target faster or break the next world barrier, it has immediate progression value. If the upgrade only makes an already easy enemy slightly faster, save the resources and inventory space for a more important family.
Compare:
- current equipped damage;
- the merge preview;
- number of additional copies required;
- how quickly you can farm that weapon pool;
- what another use of the same currency could unlock.
The highest star icon is only useful when it improves the route you are running.
Farm duplicates without wasting currency
The weapon system is observed around Titan District and uses world-linked progression resources. Read the current machine for the exact currency and unlock conditions.
Set a spending stop before spinning. Examples include reaching the next visible merge, keeping a reserve for a permanent upgrade, or stopping when the current weapon already clears the progression gate. This prevents a long gacha session from delaying the next world.
If a Currency Box provides useful weapon-related materials, open it only after confirming the next target. Randomly spending every new resource makes it hard to finish any one upgrade.
Verify the merged result
After a merge, do not assume the new icon is automatically equipped. Open the inventory and check:
- weapon name and star level;
- current damage value;
- equipped slot;
- lock state;
- remaining duplicates;
- next merge requirement.
Then test the same enemy used before the merge. Keep the Avatar, companions, and boosts unchanged. A shorter kill time proves that the weapon upgrade improved the actual farming loop.
Recover from common merge problems
Merge All did nothing
Check whether enough eligible unlocked copies exist and whether the recipe expects the same weapon and star level.
A weapon disappeared
Review the merge result and auto-delete filters. It can have been consumed into a starred result or removed by an active cleanup rule.
The new weapon is not affecting damage
Confirm that it is equipped in an active slot. Reopen the inventory if the displayed value has not refreshed.
You cannot reproduce an old recipe
Use the requirement shown in the current client. Do not keep collecting toward a number copied from an earlier build.
